James Cagney won the Best Actor Oscar for his lively portrayal of "Mr. Broadway," George M. Cohan, in this lavish screen biography that highlights Cagney in some of his finest song-and-dance routines. Cohan, a playwright, entertainer, composer and patriot, made his mark on the vaudeville stage and penned countless memorable tunes, including "Over There," "It's a Grand Old Flag," "Give My Regards to Broadway" and the film's rousing title number. If you've never seen Cagney as a hoofer, you're in for a treat: his dancing is as dynamic as anything else he's ever done on screen. Richard Miami was born and raised in St. Helena. A life-long lover of film & music, Richard was the Special Events Director at Domaine Chandon for many years where he presented concerts and art exhibitions. He was the Film & Performance Manager for COPIA:The American Center for Wine, Food & the Arts. At COPIA Richard curated the Friday Night Flick series, the indoor and outdoor concert series including the Community Spotlight Concerts. He holds both a BA & MA in Theater Arts from San Francisco State University.
