Twelve to 15 talented competitors will each perform best five to seven minute sets as if they were on "Late Night with David Letterman". Past champion Jim Short, who actually went on to appear on "Letterman" after winning the title, will act as emcee. Three esteemed Napa Valley judges will determine the outcome. Past participants in this prestigious event have included Dana Carvey, Dane Cook, Ellen DeGeneres, Patton Oswalt, Sinbad and Robin Williams.
