He was a founding member of two legendary bands, The Jefferson Airplane and the still-touring Hot Tuna.

Hailed by The New York Times as “something extraordinary,” the Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet has rapidly distinguished itself as one of the preeminent ensembles of its generation. The quartet began its professional touring career in 2002 and garnered international acclaim in 2005, winning the Concert Artists Guild Competition as well as the Grand Prix and Mozart Prize at the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition in France. In 2009, Chamber Music America awarded the quartet the prestigious biennial Cleveland Quartet Award for the 2009-2011 seasons.

The vivacious trumpeter and bandleader Doc Severinsen’s latest project is classical Spanish with a jazz flair. It is gorgeous ballads, both Latino and American, plus some great movie music and the popular gypsy jazz, a la Django Reinhardt. Classical guitarist Gil Gutierrez is a virtuoso who consistently delivers energetic, electric performances. Add the soaring trumpet of Doc Severinsen, and the experience is indescribably brilliant.

The Pacific Guitar Ensemble began in 2010 when two friends, classical guitarist David Tanenbaum and steel-string guitarist Peppino D’Agostino, decided they wanted to form a larger guitar ensemble that could perform a wide variety of repertoire. After they gathered together members of the guitar faculty from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with some of its most exceptional alumni, and combined nylon strings with steel, electric basses with 17th century theorbos, a new eclectic group of pluckers was born.

In The Footsteps Of Django brings together the best of the new Gypsy Jazz masters of Europe— LULO REINHARDT, a third generation German master, whose group the Latin Swing Project combines Gypsy Jazz with Latin rhythms. LES DOIGTS DE L'HOMME, France's leading contemporary Gypsy Jazz group, stunning musicians with a great sense of flair and humor on stage. And NORIG GADJI, a French singer with a Celtic name and Catalan roots, and a gift for bringing out the full range of feelings in Gypsy music, who will make her American debut accompanied by the gifted SEBASTIEN GINIAUX on guitar.

ROCKSHOW is a 1980 concert film by Wings, filmed during their 1976 North American tour. It features 30 songs from four concerts of the tour: New York, May 25 (four songs); Seattle, Washington, June 10 (five songs); Los Angeles, California, June 22 (15 songs); and Los Angeles, California, June 23 (six songs). This was part of the Wings Over the World Tour that also spawned the triple live album Wings Over America. McCartney remained reluctant to make the entire film available to the general public until now.
